She married Alexander Mair at Seafield Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 14 September 1894.4,2 As of 14 September 1894, her married name was Barbara Ann Mair.
She was listed as head of household's wife in the 1901 census at 261 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland. Those recorded in the household were: Alex Mair "Shavie", head; Barbara A Mair, wife; Georgina Mair, daughter; Barbara A Mair, daughter; Hellen Mair, daughter; Alex Mair, father.5

The Buckie and District Directory for 1926 shows that Barbara Ann Mair lived at 17 Park Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.6 Barbara died on 19 August 1945 at 17 Park Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 71.7,2
