Alexander Mair

     Alexander Mair was born on 6 August 1901 at 261 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Alexander Mair and Barbara Ann Masson. His family was known by the tee-name of "Shavie". Alexander Mair was a fisherman. He married Mary Buchan Stephen at The Baptist Manse, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 18 July 1930.2 He was the informant for Barbara Ann Masson's death at 17 Park Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 19 August 1945.3,2 Alexander died on 31 December 1964 at Chalmers Hospital, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 63.2
