She married Valentine George Gregory at Manvers St Methodist Church, Bath, Somerset, England, on 5 April 1958. As of 5 April 1958, her married name was Elaine Sylvia Gregory. Elaine died on 28 September 1998 at Beechcroft, 55 Hills Road, Saham Toney, Norfolk, England, at age 64.2 Her body was interred on 6 October 1998 at Saham Toney, Norfolk, England, at St. George's Church. A joint funeral service for Valentine George Gregory and Elaine Sylvia Gregory was held at Watton Methodist Church, High Street, Watton, followed by interment at St George's Church, Saham Toney.3
