     Valentine was born at Park Close, Street, Somerset, England, on 4 August 1933.1 He was the son of Maurice Thomas Gregory and Violetta Rice. Valentine was usually called "Val." He married Elaine Sylvia Looke at Manvers St Methodist Church, Bath, Somerset, England, on 5 April 1958. Valentine died on 26 September 1998 at Beechcroft, 55 Hills Road, Saham Toney, Norfolk, England, at age 65.2 His body was interred on 6 October 1998 at Saham Toney, Norfolk, England, at St. George's Church. A joint funeral service for Valentine George Gregory and Elaine Sylvia Gregory was held at Watton Methodist Church, High Street, Watton, followed by interment at St George's Church, Saham Toney.3
