Isabella Sutherland

     Isabella Sutherland was born circa 1855 at Findochty, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of George Sutherland and Barbara Thain. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Do" or "Doh". She married John Flett at Findochty, Banffshire, Scotland, on 9 December 1881.¹ As of 9 December 1881, her married name was Isabella Flett.
She was listed as head of household's wife in the 1901 census at 6 Findochty, Banffshire, Scotland. Those recorded in the household were: John Flett, head; Isa Sutherland Flett, wife; Alexr C. Sutherland, adopted son; Helen Ann McPherson, adopted daughter.²
