Elsie Ann Mair

     Elsie Ann Mair was born on 3 October 1888 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of William Mair and Ann Wood. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Rose". She married John Pirie at United Free Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 8 September 1911.2 As of 8 September 1911, her married name was Elsie Ann Pirie. Elsie died on 11 March 1946 at age 57.3 She was buried after 11 March 1946 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.3
