Robert William Simard

     Robert William Simard was born on 13 February 1948 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.1 He was the son of René Simard and Violet Taylor. Robert William Simard was found on a passenger list for 27 August 1950 of the passenger ship 'Canberra'. Those recorded in the passenger list were: Violet Simard, Jerry (sic) Simard, Robert Simard.2 He and Terry Simard were adopted circa May 1958 by James George Mair. On circa May 1958 his name was legally changed to Robert William Simard Mair.1 Robert died on 16 May 1994 at Ellon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 46.1
