     Violet Taylor was born circa 1918.1 She married René Simard.2 Her married name was Violet Simard. Violet Simard was found on a passenger list for 27 August 1950 of the passenger ship 'Canberra'. Those recorded in the passenger list were: Violet Simard, Jerry (sic) Simard, Robert Simard.3 She married James George Mair at Aberdeen, Scotland, on 30 April 1958.4,2 As of 30 April 1958, her married name was Violet Mair. Violet died on 28 November 2004 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.5,1 Her body was cremated on 2 December 2004 at Aberdeen Crematorium (East Chapel), Hazlehead, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.5
