     Barbara Stephenson was born circa 1831 at Parish of Strichen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of Charles Stephenson and Margaret Pirie. She married James Cheyne at Parish of Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 18 December 1851.2 As of 18 December 1851, her married name was Barbara Cheyne. Barbara Stephenson died on 20 July 1863 at Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1
