     Isobel Innes was born on 16 January 1787 at Seatown, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was baptized on 17 January 1787 at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of William Innes and Helen Bruce. She married Alexander Sclater at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, on 26 February 1814.3 As of 26 February 1814, her married name was Isobel Sclater.
She was listed as head of household in the 1841 census at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland. Those recorded in the household were: Isabella Slater, 45; George Slater, 20; Margaret Slater, 15; Helen Slater, 15.4
Isobel died on 5 September 1859 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 72.5,2 She was buried after 5 September 1859 at Cullen Cemetery, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.5
