     David Falconer was born circa 1854 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland. He was the son of David Falconer and Elspet McIntosh.

David Falconer was a fisherman. He married Margaret Mair at Parish of Seafield, Banffshire, Scotland, on 1 October 1870.2 David died on 5 April 1877 at sea, off Banff Harbour, Banffshire, Scotland. He perished with the fishing boat 'Amiable' that was wrecked off Banff.3,4
