James Mair was a fisherman and engineer in steam drifter. He married Isabella Flett at Seafield Manse, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 11 December 1913.3,2 He was the informant for Margaret Mair's death at 26 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 11 September 1918.4,2 He was the informant for Margaret Slater's death at 19 Seafield Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 2 December 1919.5 James died on 16 January 1970 at Campbell House, Deskford Street, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 78.2
