They later lived at 19 Seafield Street.8 He was the informant for, and present at, James Pirie's death at Norwood, 4 New Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 16 January 1956.9,2,10 John died on 10 April 1982 at Bilbohall Hospital, Elgin, Moray, Scotland, at age 84.11,12 He was buried after 10 April 1982 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Moray, Scotland.11
