     Helen McBeath was born circa 1831 at Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of James McBeath and Ann Findlay. She married Arthur Mair at Seafield Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 11 October 1856.1,2 As of 11 October 1856, her married name was Helen Mair.
She was listed as head of household's wife in the 1901 census at 86 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland. Those recorded in the household were: Arthur Mair, head; Hellen Mair, wife; Maggie Wood, granddaughter.3
Helen died on 15 August 1924 at 27 Park Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.4,5
