She married Benjamin Ritchie at Aberdeen Southern District, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, in 1956.3 As of 1956, her married name was Mary Bruce Ritchie. Mary died on 29 July 2008 at Durnhythe, Portsoy, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 97.4,1 She was buried after 29 July 2008 at Portsoy Cemetery, Portsoy, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.4
