Annie Innes Mair

     Annie Innes Mair was born on 14 October 1920 at 1 Station Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of William George Mair and Amy Smith. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Shanker". She married Frederick Chalmers Hardie at Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Scotland, in 1941.¹ As of 1941, her married name was Annie Innes Hardie.
