Joseph Mair

     Joseph Mair was born on 24 January 1916 at 3 Bath Street, Macduff, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Joseph Mair and Sarah Ann Anderson. His family was known by the tee-name of "Shanker". Joseph Mair was a fisherman. He married Jane Buckley Muir at 6 George Street, Carstairs Junction, Lanarkshire, Scotland, on 30 December 1938.1 Joseph died on 16 August 1945 at age 29.2,1
