     Isabella Mair was born on 16 December 1904 at 250 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of William Mair and Margaret Jane Wood. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Shanker". She married David Cowie at 23 Seatown, Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 17 March 1925.1 As of 17 March 1925, her married name was Isabella Cowie. Isabella Mair died in 2002.1
