     William Murray was born on 4 September 1880 at Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of George Murray and Jeannie Murray. His family was known by the tee-name of "Farmer". William died on 2 March 1908 at Umtali, Rhodesia, at age 27.1
