John Flett Mair

     John Flett Mair was born on 23 November 1891 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Joseph Mair and May Sutherland. His family was known by the tee-name of "Bobbin". John Flett Mair was a marine engineer and fisherman. He married Ruth Stewart Clark Bruce at 78 High Street, Elgin, Elginshire, Scotland, on 9 February 1916.¹ John died on 29 October 1958 at Seafield Hospital, Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 66.¹
