    FRASER GORDON PIRIE It is with great sadness that we announce that Fraser passed away peacefully on March 21, 2013 at the age of 34, after an extended struggle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved son of Clare and Jim and dear brother of Melanie (Mike). Fondly remembered by extended family: grandparents Betty and David Pirie, Uncles John, David (Heather) and Alan (Avril), Aunt Anne (Don) and cousins and Aunt Jill and Uncle Peter Stone in UK; Aunt Beryl (Gerhard) and cousins in Dorchester, Ontario. Born on May 15, 1978 in Etobicoke, attended Princess Margaret, John G. and Martingrove Collegiate Institute. Fraser was a long suffering Leafs fan and, being homebound this winter, was greatly relieved when the NHL games belatedly resumed. The family would like to thank Drs. Krzyzanowska and Jang and the team at Princess Margaret Hospital for their care and attention during Fraser's treatment. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Butler Chapel", 4933 Dundas St. West, Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling) on Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service in the Chapel at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. Flowers gratefully declined, however donations, in Fraser's name, to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or your favourite cancer charity would be greatly appreciated to continue the research to help diagnosis and find cures for this multi-faceted and dreadful disease."
