William Findlay Mair

     William Findlay Mair was born on 27 July 1931 at 7 Scotstown, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of James Mair and Ann Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Shavie". William Findlay Mair was a motor mechanic. He married Sheila Adamson West at North and East Church of St. Nicholas, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 3 December 1955.¹ He was the informant for Ann Mair's death at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, Angus, Scotland, on 7 March 1982.¹
