     John Wood was born illegitimate on 29 October 1902 at 332 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of William Wood and Margaret Ann Grant. His family was known by the tee-name of "Reid". He was the informant for, and present at, Margaret Ann Wood's death at 12 Admiralty Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 19 September 1945.3 He was the informant for William Wood's death at Seafield Hospital, Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 10 February 1960.2 He was the informant for Rebecca Wood's death at Chalmers Hospital, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 9 June 1962.2 John died in 1981 at Buckie, Moray, Scotland.2
