She married James Murray at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 11 September 1908.1 As of 11 September 1908, her married name was Elsie Murray. She was a witness at William Wood and Mary Helen Slater Murray's wedding at North Church, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 14 December 1939.2,1 Elsie Slater died on 5 December 1967.1
