     George Imlach was born on 28 June 1856 at Parish of Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of George Imlach and Ann Flett. His family was known by the tee-name of "Boats". He married Ann McIntosh at St. Nicholas, Aberdeen, Scotland, on 17 September 1878.2 George died in 1931 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.2
