Her family was known by the tee-name of "Boats". She married William Smith at Parish of Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland, on 12 October 1866.3,2 As of 12 October 1866, her married name was Ann Smith. Ann died on 6 January 1912 at Portessie, Banffshire, Scotland.2
