     Ann Anderson was born before 27 August 1833 at Findochty, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was baptized on 27 August 1833 at Parish of Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of David Anderson and Catherine Flett. She married David Mair at Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 4 November 1854.1,3 As of 4 November 1854, her married name was Ann Mair.
She was listed as head of household's wife in the 1861 census at 183 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland. Those recorded in the household were: David Mair, head; Ann Mair, wife; James Mair, son; Ann Mair, daughter; John Mair, son; Hellen Mair, servant.4
Ann Anderson died on 9 March 1877 at Banff, Banffshire, Scotland.1
