     Jemima Mair was born on 30 October 1904 at 418 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of Alexander Mair and Jessie Ann Pirie. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Slater" or "Frank". She married John Murray Bowie at Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 10 December 1925.1,2 As of 10 December 1935, her married name was Jemima Bowie. She was the informant for Alexander Mair's death at Seafield Hospital, Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 28 November 1947.3,4,2 Jemima died in 1999 at Buckie, Moray, Scotland.2
