Helen Sclater

     Helen Sclater was born on 3 December 1863 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of William Sclater and Mary Wilson. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Duncan".
She was listed as head of household's daughter in the 1871 census at 199 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland. Helen Sclater was also known as Slater. She married James Pirie at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 14 December 1888.3 As of 14 December 1888, her married name was Helen Pirie.

Helen died on 25 January 1921 at 10 New Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 57.5
