     Catherine Mair was born in 1919.1 She was the daughter of David Mair and Catharine Pirie. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Saucy". She married James Findlay at North Church Manse, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 10 July 1941.2,1 As of 10 July 1941, her married name was Catherine Findlay. Catherine died on 1 August 2008 at Seafield Hospital, Buckie, Moray, Scotland.3,1 She was buried on 5 August 2008 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Moray, Scotland.3
