Philiip Gardiner

Philiip Gardiner was born circa 1918 at Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of William Gardiner and Maggie Helen Coull. Philiip Gardiner was an able seaman in the Merchant Navy. Philiip died on 7 October 1942 at sea off Cromer, Norfolk. The Saint Class tug HMS Saint Mabyn was sold in 1926 and renamed Caroline Moller. It was requisitioned by the Royal Navy during the Second World War.
