James Mair was a fisherman. He married Annie Reid at North Church Manse, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 26 December 1939.2,3 He was the informant for, and present at, John Mair's death at 22 High Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 29 April 1941.4,3 James died on 14 February 1958 at Dr. Gray's Hospital, Elgin, Moray, Scotland, at age 50.3
