Jessie Ann Mair Findlay was born on 31 May 1903 at 165 Seatown, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of George Findlay and Helen Gardiner Findlay. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Toper". She married George Mair at 35a Union Street, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 5 December 1924.3,4,2,5 As of 5 December 1924, her married name was Jessie Ann Mair Mair. Jessie was known in the family as "Nanny" or "Nanny Toper." Jessie Ann Mair Findlay died on 20 December 1989 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 86.2 She was buried on 23 December 1989 at Cullen Cemetery, Cullen, Moray, Scotland.2
