David Wood

     David Wood was born on 16 October 1918 at 130 Braeheads, Whitehills, Boyndie, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of David Wood and Georgina Ritchie. His family was known by the tee-name of "Doo". He married Jessie Claribel Shuttleworth at Durban, Natal, South Africa, on 29 December 1945.¹ He was the informant for David Wood's death at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 4 September 1957.¹ David died on 29 November 1979 at Western Infirmary, Glasgow, Scotland, at age 61.¹
