He married Agnes Jeffrey Henderson at Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland, in 1962.3,2 He married Georgina Bruce Wilson at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, in 1972.4,2 William died on 27 September 1992 at Spynie Hospital, Elgin, Moray, Scotland, at age 79.2 He was buried after 27 September 1992 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Moray, Scotland.2
