Joy died on 13 January 2016 at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Colney Lane, Norwich, Norfolk, England, at age 90.2 She was buried on 28 January 2016 at St. John the Baptist's Churchyard, Garboldisham, Norfolk, England.2
