William Thomson

     William Thomson was born circa 1850. He was the son of William Thomson and Jane Gardiner. William Thomson was a fisherman. William died on 5 April 1877 at sea, off Banff Harbour, Banffshire, Scotland. He perished with the fishing boat 'Amiable' that was wrecked off Banff.1,2
