He married Catherine Wood at Seafield Arms Hotel, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, on 29 March 1916.2,3 George Gardiner was found on a passenger list for 25 May 1948 of the passenger ship 'Aquitania'.4,2 George died on 23 September 1986 at Oakhurst Private Hospital, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at age 94.1,2 He was buried on 26 September 1986 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.1
