     William Wilson was born on 29 December 1818.1 He was the son of James Wilson and Margaret Wood. William Wilson was baptized on 3 January 1819 at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was a fisherman. He married Margaret Forbes at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 28 October 1841.2,3
He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census at 154 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.
