He married Beatrice Wood at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 8 December 1911.2,3 He married Catherine Wood at 13 Admiralty Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 4 March 1921.4,3 Alexander died on 19 August 1970 at age 83.5 He was buried after 19 August 1970 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.5
