Joan Mair

     Joan Mair was born on 12 September 1903 at 160 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of Alexander Mair and Johan Mowat Addison. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Gault". She married Arthur Smith Mair at The Victoria Hotel, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 6 December 1929.2 Joan died on 28 October 1989 at 12 Victoria Street, Portknockie, Moray, Scotland, at age 86.2
