Andrew Murray

     Andrew Murray was born on 1 April 1898 at 34 Seatown, Buckie, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of John Murray and Helen Smith. His family was known by the tee-name of "Gyke". Andrew Murray was a tinsmith (journeyman.) He married Mary Vass Mair at Douglas Hotel, Market street, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 20 September 1929.¹ Andrew died on 31 December 1974 at City Hospital, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 76.¹
