Jessie Mair

     Jessie Mair was born on 17 September 1905 at Barbank Street, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Mair and Margaret Bruce. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Shavie". She married Findlay Wood McKay at The Commercial Hotel, Seafield Street, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, on 8 September 1926.1,2 As of 8 September 1926, her married name was Jessie McKay. Jessie died in 1990 at Elgin, Moray, Scotland.2
