Alexander Cheyne

Alexander was born at Treeroot, Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 20 May 1826.1,2 He was the son of James Cheyne and Isabella Horn. Alexander Cheyne was baptized on 25 May 1826 at Parish of Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1
He was listed as head of household's son in the 1851 census at Stonefolds, Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Those recorded in the household were: James Chyne (sic), head; Isobel Chyne (sic), wife; Alexander Chyne (sic), son; Agnes Chyne (sic), daughter; Ann Chyne (sic), daughter; George Chyne (sic), son; James Chyne (sic), son; Alexr Nicol, daughter's son; George Chyne (sic), son's son; Peter Chyne (sic), brother.3
He married Elspet Spence at Bodiechell, Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 12 March 1857. Alexander died on 13 February 1915 at age 88.4 His body was interred after 13 February 1915 at Millbrex, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at Millbrex Kirkyard.5,4
