James Cheyne

James was born at Treeroot, Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 28 December 1823.1,2 He was the son of James Cheyne and Isabella Horn. James Cheyne was baptized on 2 January 1824 at Parish of Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He was a farmer and crofter. He married Margaret Pirie at Teuchar, Monquhitter Parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 8 April 1849.3
