George Slater

     George Slater was born on 2 November 1881 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of William Sclater and Margaret Ann Topp. His family was known by the tee-name of "Hasser".

George Slater was a fisherman. He married Elsie Brown Wood at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 28 December 1905.1 George died on 12 May 1916 at 263 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 34.3
