James Findlay

     James Findlay was born circa 1892 at Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of George Findlay and Mary Mair. His family was known by the tee-name of "Den". James Findlay was an able bodied seaman on HMS Talbot. He married Mary Slater at Seafield Arms Hotel, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, on 27 September 1918.2
