     John Howard Gaston was born on 14 October 1918 at Drumkeen House, Newbliss, Drumbrain, County Monaghan, Ireland.1 He was the son of Joseph Gaston and Margaret Wallace Grier. John Howard Gaston was a sergeant in the RAF Volunteer Reserve on 7 March 1942.2 He married Margaret Hellen Cheyne at Surrey Northern, Surrey, England, in 1949.3,4 John Howard Gaston was a Squadron Leader in the RAF on 1 January 1952.5 He was a Flying Officer in the RAF Volunteer Reserve Training Branch on 6 October 1967.6 John died on 19 September 1995 at Douglas, Isle of Man, British Isles, at age 76.7,8,1
