He married Helen Garden Anderson at Bon Accord Hotel, Market street, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 30 June 1911.3 George died in 1971.2 He was buried in 1971 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.2,4
