James Mair

James Mair "Johns" was born on 11 July 1895 at Thistle Street, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of George Mair and Mary Sclater. His family was known by the tee-name of "Johns". James Mair was a joiner and fisherman. He married Jessie Ann Findlay at Seafield Hall, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 25 March 1921.2 He was the informant for, and present at, George Mair's death at 19 New Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 10 June 1930.3,4,1
